UMYU Conference on Microbiology and Related Sciences 2024 Organized by the Department of Microbiology of Umaru Musa Yar'adua University Katsina with the support form Society of Experimental Biology (SEB)
UMYU Conference on Microbiology and Related Sciences is an annual event that aims to host researchers across microbial sciences and related disciplines. The conference is targeted to be an annual event hosted by the Department of Microbiology, Umaru Musa Yar'adua University (UMYU). The first conference took place in February 2020 with the name PG Students Conference. However, recent suggestions and surveys conducted led to the renaming of the conference to the UMYU Conference on Microbiology and Related Sciences. This decision is to ensure sustainability and also make the conference discipline-specific. The conference objective is to bring together students and experts from Microbiology and related disciplines for knowledge sharing, expertise, and experience exchange in the emerging trends related to Microbiology research with the applications in the economy and sustainable future.
The 2nd UMYU Conference on Microbiology and Related Sciences was held on the 27th 29th of February, 2024. All inquiries can be channeled through the Conference Organizing Committee Chairman or the Secretary at mcbconference@umyu.edu.ng
